We have obtained the ISO 14001 certification since 2003 at two sites, the Kinraku Plant (Amagasaki-City) and the Senboku Plant (Izumiohtsu-City). While building and maintaining the management system integrated with our business activities, we are continuously improving our environmental performance.
We are considering that the organization is activated and leads to growth of an enterprise by healthy of all employee's minds and bodies and by the workplace which can show the ability of the individual. Therefore, we work on "healthy management" aggressively and work on making a comfortable work environment, and making health maintenance/ promotion of employee and their family.
Specifically, the following corresponds is being performed.
We have been working on the General Business Owner Action Plan since 2010 and obtained the "Kurumin" next-generation supporter certification in 2014, under the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children. We make continuous efforts and are currently engaged in activities for the fifth term with the following contents.
In response to the Japan's rapidly declining birthrate, we support healthy development of children who will lead the next generation of society.
We received the silver rating in the sustainability survey conducted by EcoVadis in 2022. This is the result of our highly appraised CSR initiatives in four areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Based on the result of this evaluation, we will further focus on CSR initiatives and grow into a company that gains more trust from our stakeholders.
We received approval from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in March 2023 for our greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets. The company is committed to working towards the 2030 GHG emission reduction target of limiting the global temperature increase to 1.5℃ above pre-industrial levels.
